Trying this again. I have a permit for July 2 & 3 that I am going to need to swap, for TWO people. Pretty much any other Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun would work.
Please PM or reply. Also x-posting to cascadeclimbers.com, to see if that crowd has any takers.
Going...going...to waste? Hope not. I'm still hoping for a swap but its lookin more like I might just need to give it away. Wahhh. Conditions are looking good far as snow clear from most lower basin campsites yet still good snow for ascents of Dragontail or Annapurna, is what I've heard.
You should be able to sell them if nothing else. Dont lose your money here.

TheLawGoddess from CascadeClimbers.com is the lucky winner of the sideband wolfs Enchantments permit lottery and yeah I did ask for a check to pay the 18$ since she sadly didn't have a permit to swap me for. Just-in-time lottery for me ...
In case anyone cares, I asked Robin at the Leavenworth station how that just-in-time lottery works. There are a baseline of five persons' worth of permits available by lottery for each day. BUT they go higher than five total people allowed whenever you have a situation where any party that wins last lottery spot(s) has more than the remaining. E.g if two parties of two and one party of six each 'won' the lottery in exactly that order, then even though the party of six makes the total go to ten, all those groups get to go. However, had the party of six 'won' the very first draw, no other party would get to go. Crazy huh?
