I also have DeLorme. The thing I like about it is how you can go back and tweek the middle of a route without redoing a lot of it. I've found the 3D handy at times when trying to identify other mountains in the area for what they look like.
DeLorme was my first. I have a soft spot for it but Topo! is a little more user friendly.
Someday I hope to have the topo maps and the flyover photos on my pc and working like Terraserver.
If the only thing about the regional is a little better resolution, then I'll save my $.
