Nice site! Very slick interface, design and content.
Gave me some fun ideas for hikes this summer as well. Thanks for the link!

Very nice John.
Looking at your trip photos for the Old Robe Canyon, Jan. 26, 02, I'm wondering where the narrow old wall is? Is it past the big slide? All the times I've been there I don't remember it.
Thanks
NN
It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

Thank you!
As I recall, the eroded retaining wall is beyond the official trail, just on the other side of the third tunnel and before the collapsed tunnel. Seeing it is one of the things I most look forward to when hiking Robe Canyon - I bet the tracks once ran right up along the edge.
Karen Sykes mentions the wall in her PI article:

Good luck finding it! And be careful crossing the landslides.

I have walked across that retaining wall several times. It's not that skinny. However, in your photo it sure looks narrow. Having the river running right below you adds to the excitement.
