In case you have interest in fun old photographs as I know many here do, the Oregon Historical Society has a wonderful project ongoing. Known as The Oregon History Project, it has a huge wealth of photos and write-ups that cover a huge array of information. Worth checking out and enjoying on a long evening if you have nothing to do!

Locally, you'll find a lot of information at HistoryLink.org--tons of essays and photos about the history of Seattle, King County, and expanding into the entire state eventually.

Thanks for the links Alan. Pretty interesting stuff.
Years ago I saw a photo taken of the Oregon Trail from the air. You could see the ruts that the wagon wheels had made. I've spent considerable time looking for a photo like that to no avail. Iffin you run across one, please let me know.

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.
