I finally managed to drag my tripod along and get a nice whispy water shot and thought I'd share it with y'all.

For someone named catwoman there sure are a lot of dog pictures... very suspicious.

Nice photo catwoman. It's very whispy looking indeed.
I've never tried one yet myself. I always kinda liked seeing a resemblance of something that looked like water. I guess you would call it definition? I might have to give it a try.

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

Thanks everyone! I really like the whispy water thing, but I don't like having to lug a tripod around. Yes, Sable was getting chilled, so she thought I was taking way too long with the photo stuff and wanted to leave.

Once you try it, NN, you'll never be the same... There are definitely times, such as when shooting roaring rivers, Niagra Falls, big water, etc., that a whispy water effect would be a bit strange and disconcerting to the viewer. Like everything else you can go overboard with it.

Ha! I had no idea that Niagara was not spelled correctly. I was just checking "whispy" and noticed the other oddities. And how come there is no "wisky-jack" who joined on 12-16-01 and has 838 posts? Who are you and how did you outwit the members list? Polar Bear, you rascal!
