You may have desserts confused with deserts. There has recently been a lot of talk on this forum about both. Desserts are yummy sweet things you eat after dinner or maybe lunch, whereas deserts are a landscape form or region that receives very little precipitation. You got it right in concept, but in execution, they are too very different things, with the exception of sand ice cream. cool.gif

I usually make a trail mix with sweet things like chocolate, dried stawberries, reeses pieces, etc. A couple handfuls of that is great. I wonder what would happen if I used that in pancakes for mornings, hmm...

It's probably not such a bad idea. I try to stay in her good graces by sending an email once in a while, and I always send her a birthday card. peace.gif

Sar, I bet your dessert recipes are especially yummy in the desert. up.gif wink.gif Your Rocky Road trail mix recipe sounds good, but now I want some ice cream.

Homemade marshmallows. They're light, sweet, and guilt-free if you've been hiking all day. hockeygrin.gif
