If this gorgeous weather holds, I'm thinking about playing hookey tomorrow or the next day and hiking up Si. Has anyone been up to the top in the past few days? I can see a little snow from I-90, but I'm more concerned about icey trails up there. Thanks, Cliff

didn't you just buy some nice lightweight crampons? I have a pair of instep 4 prong ones that are great for 'trail ice'.

I did, and I've used them to aerate my front lawn, so far. I still want to know if there's icy trails up there - I'm a wimp and I like to plan for everything.

Salish, Ed Hume would be proud! lol.gif lol.gif I've done that too, but got half stuck in wet turf. I'm sure my neighbors thought I was a real neat guy. dizzy.gif

There you go, Pappy. If we can get'em marketed by Scotts or Lawn King we can get them at 50% off the Stubai price. I'm all for it......Cisco on Lawn Spikes. My neighbors gave up on me long ago. I'm the lazy bum whose house needs painting and lawn needs mowing, yet I'm headed out the door every Saturday morning with backpacks or fishing rods.
