I heard a rumor that there is an abandoned steam locomotive up the Duckabush River in the area of ST. Peter's Dome. A guy I worked with claimed to have talked to someone that had seen it. Does anyone here have any knowledge of this?

A couple of links that might be of interest: Historical Watershed Stimson Timber Co. and Duckabush

The rumor is true, I'll try to get more info if I can remember where I found it. St. Peters Dome stopped the railroad from going farther.
