Holy toledo catwoman, I haven't looked at that thread in awhile, 21 pages, that's gotta be a record. I was going to say that when I start reading a thread, I try to remember which page I left off on and then go back at a later time. Well the CNN thread, that blew my whole theory.

I don't have time to read the CNN tread. Maybe a thread could be started that summarizes the salient points?

I'm game about mindless dribble! & glass! I read about it in a book once or saw someone blowing glass or admired stained glass windows in a church....anyway, I'm just tap-dancing with this 'cause I don't really care. But, did you know that glass is classified as a liquid and not a solid? I mean glass that has cooled and has been fashioned into a window pane or a wine bottle for example. It can take a LONG time but eventually that glass will slump into a blob. In cathedrals over in Europe for example, especially ones that are hundreds of years old, the panes of either stained or clear glass have a noticeable sag at their bottoms where the glass has slowly moved down. Now maybe modern glass is better made than the old stuff but I think it still applies- correct me if I'm wrong, I can take it!
