PM Sarbar, who frequently posts on this forum. She will know.

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.--E.Abbey

Mountain House is located in Albany, OR near Corvallis. Not too far from Portland.

Why a sales rep? You should line up a couple trail cooking authors instead hungry.gif There are two of us here on NWHikers wink.gif A certain two of us do demo's quite often - involving talking about gear, food, preparing food, etc. Or heck? Just put that on yourself! People love watching it. IMO...freeze dried meals are for the un-inventive, iron clad stomach lazy hikers who can handle sodium gut bombs .... not that I am opinionated or anything clown.gif lol.gif

Mary Jane's is in Oregon; Mary Jane is a real person, an ex-FS employee.

Idaho? Anyhoo, yes, she is a real person - not a faceless company.
