I have read that Otter Falls is actually approximately 1200 feet and you can really only see the bottom portion of it. We were up there yesterday and the hillside next to the falls is pretty easy to hike up and I was just wondering if anyone has actually gone up and seen the top section of the falls?

My dad did it a long time ago.

There's a full view of it from the summit of Treen Peak. Not the greatest of pano pictures, but this gives you an idea of it. I took this June 2008.

Open that shot up a little and you can see Morpheus Peak, which is at the head of the drainage basin.

I'd sure like to hear details from anyone that has tried to climb up to Morpheus from Otter Falls. The only trip reports on this site approach Morpheus from the north, via Dog or elsewhere. For example TRs from Stefan and Randy.

We are going to attempt it. I'm not sure how far we will get but the brush is really sparse right now and if the weather holds (no strange snow fall or massive rains) we'll try in the next couple weeks, so I'll keep you posted.
