If you do freeze dried meals when you go BPing, Costco has a 10-pack of Mountain House 2-serving meals for $43 right now (that's basically half what REI charges per pack). Includes Beef Stew, Lasagna, Stroganoff and Chicken Teriyaki.

They were right along the fence just past the entrance to the Kirkland store. If the other stores have them, I'd expect they'll be right near the entrance too.

They were handing out little sample cups of the MH meals at our Costco a couple days ago. IMO (and my wife's) lasagna and beef stroganoff were pretty bland, beef stew was pretty good, but the chicken teriyaki was the best tasting of the bunch. We didn't buy any of it though.
I would not have taken the sample in a domestic environment! But, I bought the ten pack. The guy that rang me up asked how they tasted! I told him that they were quick and easy. He said, kind of like MRE's. I told him that they were something like that.

So What? You aren't eating a pound of it. A hike up Si will get rid of the few calories you ingested.

The frozen naan is awesome. Sprinkle with water and heat it up in the oven and you wouldn't know it was frozen. I'm not a fan of the Indian food but the coconut curry is surprisingly good and makes for a good dip with the naan. Edit: they replaced the frozen naan with refrigerated naan (same brand). It's right next to the coconut curry at the Issaquah Costco.

Really liking the chicken skewers. Great with salads, nachos, margherita pizza, etc. Daniels Broiler gift cards are on sale thru Sunday - $64 per $100.
