My latest picasa album is not showing up in the pop-up window when I'm trying to post photos... I have never had this problem before. Whats going on?!

Did you make the album private?

I recently had problems with Imageshack, again. I switched to Flickr, works much better imho.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

I've never been able to upload from PBase, though I'm a paid membership and I made sure that everything is as open as possible (no passwords). Not sure if this has happened with anyone else?

It appears there is a "bug"? It appears nwhikers.net software is unable to handle image names which contain an embedded "-" dash character. Google's Picasa archive is now generating such filenames, and we users have no control over that. Here are examples of images which just won't appear when the "Pics" menu is selected, and can't even be posted manually on nwhikers, even though albums are public and the images display perfectly if the filename is simply cut-and-pasted into a web browser!

Nope, the problem is the https in the link. Replace the https with http and it works just fine:
I suspect the reason you can't see them via the Pics button is they are non-public. We can only grab the public pictures.

Nope, it's "public on the web", and is at this link. But there may be a subtle difference... the online album was created using Picasa's "Sync" feature. This creates a new private album. Only after the private online album is created can the owner change it to public. (This can be done either within the Picasa app or on the online web album.) But it won't display using nwhikers "Pics" feature. If instead I select a group of photos and use Picasa's "Share" command, it allows me to create a new album which is Public from the start, before the photos are uploaded into it. This seems to work fine with nwhiker's "Pics" feature. Picasa's "Sync" may be the culprit here? The album says it is "Public on the web", but apparently nwhiker's "Pics" thinks the photos in it are not public? Is there a private/public attribute of each individual photo??
