Long trip reports are ideal, but sometimes people don't have the time to write a novel about their latest hike. This is supposed to be an ongoing thread that gives lazy people a venue for documenting their latest hike.

I'll start. Mt. Washington was nice yesterday. Half of the time I was happy I brought my snowshoes, half the time I wish I left them at home.
Mt. Si, Teneriffe in the distance. This is the fake summit. Still a ways to go.

The summit is UPWARDS. Just in case it wasn't obvious.

Did about an hour of walking today @ the San Diego Natl. Wildlife Refuge. Saw 1 duck, 1 horse, some horse crap, & a few people w/a couple dogs. T-shirt weather, no bugs, plentiful sunshine. cool.gif Last wk. I went to the nude beach after work & saw a couple squirrels, various birds, & lots of naked men. up.gif

mount Teneriffe/kamikaze falls. 3/23/14. clear to the falls, hit snow a couple hundred feet in elevation above the falls. took us an hour to go from the falls to the summit with 1/2 of it in knee to hip deep snow. snow shoes would have been nice for some of it but kicking steps wasn't that bad. no cornice, snow on summit isn't very deep and melting fast.

Walked the big Discovery Park Loop. Picked nettles. Washed them, Cooked them, Ate them.

Not to be confused with "Lazy Trip" Reports such as "I walked the paths through the woods at my parents house. Took me about 5 minutes." clown.gif
