In the past couple days I have done a pretty much full overhaul of my FreezerBag website. With the help of a number of forum users on Backpacker.com's forums and Trail Talk forums giving me some big contributions (of the $ kind) I was able to reup for the next year for my service. I have expanded my pages-dividing the categories better. I also streamlined the site, and it loads faster now. And, of course, I have recently added about 30 new recipes (in the past couple weeks) It is backpacking season-get out and enjoy it! smile.gif http://www.freewebs.com/freezerbagcooking/

Hi Sarbar, Your recipes have helped me out a bunch and have saved me loads of time so I went ahead and made a donation yesterday after seeing your backpacker.com post. I'm glad you changed the background color to beige, the blue clouds made it a bit hard to read with my less than perfect (!) vision. You know, you ought to publish a book and get paid for your ideas and hard work!

Lol...those clouds were pretty godawful wink.gif Yeah, Beige is boring but it is very easy to read now. Thank you so much!! The book is something I am seriously looking into smile.gif

Slightly off topic. Is there a trick to the powdered cheese? On our last trip, we made some freeze-dried lasagna. Even though I mixed it up before adding the water or my spoon, my spoon still got gummed up by the cheese. I couldn't even boil the stuff off. I'm ready to give up on anything with cheese. Suggestions?

Trust me-that lasagna cheese glue happens to everyone..blech wink.gif I don't know what the heck they use in it!! I use the cheese sauce powder that I find in bulk at WinCo...a lot better for cleanup (though it does have that charming orange color wink.gif
