ML...think modern day TVP. Yeah, I am sure it will keep you from starving....but it looks like dog food huh.gif Weird though is I'll eat Tofu...

marylou, It comes in dried chunks in a plastic bag. It's the same stuff that they, (whoever the hell "they" are), make vegan hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken pieces from. There are lots of places that carry this stuff, I get mine from the local health food store. It really isn't all that bad if you approach it right. There is one after effect that does affect some people, in that soy products can cause you to become more, um, uh, ...."regular" as in eating prunes, if you get my drift.
