Hi Alison Many thanks for your recent enquiry regarding Mint Cake in America. Unfortunately at this present time we do not have a supplier in Australia. We can however supply you with a website address and they may be able to help, there details are as follows www.kendalcorner.co.uk. Hope this answers your query. Many Thanks Elaine Nicholson

I don't know why this thread exists, but what the hey, I got 20 minutes til the bus comes. I'm very concerned that Australia doesn't have a source for Mint Cake. If you could give me the address of Australia, I can go to REI Seattle where I bought Mint Cake last year and send it to Australia, a country in search of Mint Cake. Oh, wait, never mind. I have the address. It's "Australia."

So, a question from a woman living in America reveals that they do not have a supplier in Australia. Well, I guess that info is potentially useful in some way I haven't thought of yet. Good to know that Great Britain's supply is intact. up.gif

Hey! We could go to Australia and open a Mint Cake store. It would catch on so amazingly well they would crown us Mint Cake Monarchs. We could be great!

Which way does the typo go? The inquiry came from Australia and there's no mint cake in America, or the inquiry came from America and there's no mint cake in America, or the inquiry came from Australia and there's no mint cake in Australia? I have Mint Cake at my house, as evidenced by the photo attached (14 pound puss used as evidence of locale of said Mint Cake, and for scale). This was purchased about a year ago - in Seattle, after Jenjen raved about Mint Cake. Further sightings at the Safeway in Leavenworth ensued thereafter. I like Mint Cake, and I'm glad it's being showcased in this thread. Thank you.

I don't much care for the KMC myself, but have hiked with others who enjoy it, and one gentleman who actually makes it himself - I think he found a recipe online somewhere.

Now that's one handsome putty cat. up.gif I asked about the mint cake at the B'ham REI yesterday when I was in town and just got a blank look from 3 employees. I'm just guessing they don't stock it. They do, however, stock both Aqua Mira drops and the Micro Pur tablets which makes them a useful store to have around.
