October 17 - TODAY: Local Impacts of Climate Change Forum Series
Attend second in series “Local Impacts of Climate Change” today at noon in Rainier Square
Join City Light’s Communications & Public Affairs Division today at noon for the second speaker in our series on the local impacts of climate change. Today’s topic is “Blue Legacy: Observing the retreat of glaciers in Washington's national parks" with Jon Riedel, geologist with the National Park Service at North Cascades National Park.
The free lecture runs from noon-1:15 p.m. in the Rainier Square Conference Center, 1301 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle. Attendees are welcome to bring lunch. Arrive early to guarantee your seat. The series is sponsored by Seattle City Light’s Green Up renewable power program with support from Unico Properties.
