I discovered an excellent ingredient for home made GORP. Fred Meyer sells a cashew/peanut/sesame stick mixture and I started tossing that in with my choc chips and raisins (I'm not a fan a cranberries). Those sesame sticks really make the mix.

YOu might consider adding a pinch of coriander, paprika, and a skosh of lemonade powder. Sometimes I also add a dash of vodka, which really gives your GORP a nice "kick". Others I know sprinkle a little bone meal, kelp meal, and cottonseed meal to help with the N-P-K ratio.

You are without a doubt the wierdest person in the universe, with the occasional exception of Starjumper.

Instead of adding chocolate chips and raisins to mine, I add M&Ms and dried mangoes. I also toss in wasabi peas.

Quark, Those sesame sticks sound great! I'll have to make a trip to Freddies. I like to add flaked coconut (not that stringy stuff) that I've toasted in the oven to the nuts, chips and raisins. I'll have to try with your mix.
