Hi, Anyone interested in the PCT, or long distance hiking, might like to check out, "Dances With Marmots"
The site gives a Kiwi's (New Zealander) view of the Pacific Crest Trail.
This man is a very talented writer. I loved the part where he claimed to be the opposite of Steve Irwin and jumped a thousand feet into the air at his first rattler. This is really funny....

A fun read and very entertaining. This guy knows how to tell a story and he does it with a wonderful sense of humor. Take the time to read this PCT story, it is really good.
I'be been reading "Dances with Marmots" on my breaks at work. Thanks for making the tedium bearable!
What an enjoyable read, and a very well-told story. Everyday I dream of doing the same trip myself.
Soon...
