Dear Editor Editor: I strongly object to the objection that was posted by the poser poster and request you edit the edit if your editor edits said imposter-post. It is clear that a beer is in order. Very truly yours, Mrs. Charles Quiddens, Lanbury House, Fenwick-on-Tine, Liverstone

It is certainly not possible. I had the rare pleasure of exposing an 11 year old to the Holy Grail thing the other night. We both laughed our asses off. She had never heard of Monty Python, but thought it was pretty cool that they had their own show. Every scene is priceless, truly a timeless classic of comedy.

Dear Edit or: Edit or what? Why should I? I will speak my mind and let others read it for once. Let me vent. If bears want to talk about being trained, can't they do it on there own site? I don't have alot in common with bears, the kind of packs they wear, or the trails they hike, rug donning (like who hasn't worn a wig) etc, etc, etcetera. Also, if grizzlies want to be introduced to the cascades, can they take some initiative and just go up and say, "Hi mountain." Or maybe no introduction is required at all. I hike in the Cascades all the time and never say boo to them and don't feel guilty. Nobody needs to help assist them or even give them press for being shy. Don't encourage it. Spend tax dollars where they are needed. Also, I want to read about hiking but end up reading letters to the editor!!! Must you publish them all (my emphasis)? Maybe you should change your name from editor to stenographer or such if you continue so. agree.gif Use some judgment, sir/ma'am! By the way, if I exceeded the 200 word limit, please don't edit this as every iota is significant. Best Regards, Post Erior

I'm sorry I missed the social last night. I was planning on going until I went online to get the address and discovered the description of the place said the smoke there is very pervasive. Being that smoke bothers me, I opted to assemble my easel and cd rack from IKEA. It looked like you were going to have a great turnout though. How'd it go?

Thanks to Alllison for organzing the event. Nice photos from some sclimbles that Tom, Randy, Allison, and others had done. Unpublished photos of Team Gummy's ill fated climb truly illustrated why climbing can be much more dangerous than scrambling, especially if you are climbing on an empty stomach shakehead.gif . Seeing those photos did cast a sober pall to the evening until Dave showed us why when he is upset with other drivers on the freeway all he can do is wave at them hmmm.gif There were mentions of several grand scale summer wilderness expeditions which if only 2 or 3 are accomplished it should make for a nice summer. I still want to see pictures of dogman's cookset once I find out who he really is. Cast iron skillets and such so the rumor goes.

Alli! I can't believe you took a computer to a bar!!! Well, at least this was probably one of your more appropriate crowds for that sort of thing!

rolleyes.gif Gee, I don't see what the big deal is...practically everyone's got a digital camera these days, and in all honesty the other people in the bar were interested in what we were looking at. I would definitely bring one next time, at which time I will hopefully have a little more control of my new-to-me Mac laptop, which I affectionately refer to as 'the brat.' dizzy.gif

Yeah, the laptop was a great idea for sharing pics. Maybe next time we can hook it up to the big screen TV.
