Are you sure that was a heard of cattle and not Tazz's truck?

Hmmm. Well, I've "heard" of cattle. Even seen a few of 'em. Recently as a matter of fact. But this "herd" of cattle came calling and...well, ...y'know, now that you mention it, just what does Tazz's truck look like? biggrin.gif

It has an indentation in it, that looks a lot like Rich Baldwins coffee pot.

But not Dave Workman's lantern, eh? Well, blame-fixing and finger pointing is futile. Besides, I saw the culprits. Walking prime rib.

Was on a flight earlier this week that flew over the area and captured this aerial. All that crumbly rock on Tieton Peak doesn't look too bad from 30,000'. hockeygrin.gif

I want that peak. Right now it's the only one on my rejection list.

Looking at the topo perhaps the northern shelf (~6600) offers a better approach to avoid all the loose rock.

Looks kinda tricky on terraserver. Almost seems like you might have to drop down 200' or so and bag that unmapped lake to reach some decent topo lines going up... http://terraserver-usa.com/image.aspx?T=1&S=11&Z=10&X=1557&Y=12881&W=3
