Anybody know anything about the abandoned Iron Mountain trail (near Darrington)? We followed the north portion of the path as shown today. And we've seen evidence of a trail at the south end off the Mountain Loop.
Within 1933-36 the Forewst Service constructed a trail along the crest of Helena Ridge and Iron Peak from Pass Lake to the mouth of Clear Creek. pg 144.
