So how was it Mr. Smith? A worthy sequel?

Report, report. I liked it, but there were a couple really boring and non necessary portions I thought they could have left out.
Otherwise a good sequel.

I've heard some horrible reviews of this movie from actual people not, professional critics. One said it was the worst sequel since Highlander 2. Now that's saying a lot! I hope it isn't so. I really enjoyed the first one. But to be honest, I'm just passing time until the last Lord of the Rings installment.

The original was entertaining but not enough that I wanted to see again. I'd have to hear lots of good word-of-mouth about the sequel before I'd see it. I'm kinda burned out on the whole dark paranoid sci-fi worlds in film. I agree with MCaver, LOTR 3 is something I'm more looking forward to seeing- and I haven't read the books. Now there is imaginative storytelling and interesting characters! Off the top of my head I can think of only a few sequels that were at least as good as the originals- Godfather Pt. II, Star Wars-Empire Strikes Back, The Road Warrior (aka Mad Max II -much better than Mad Max 1 ).

Not horrible. Not great. A little above average. Defintely not enough guns. Most reviews I've seen gave it a grade of C or B-. If you are a fan you'll like it, if not, you most likely won't.

I still enjoy seeing the original, but I don't think I could stomach seeing the sequel again. I have to agree with Slate's verdict on this one, "We waited four years for this?" Dime store philosophy, rehash of already done stunts and CG and a script that did not draw you in. I wanted to buy the trilogy when it came out, but I won't now.

Dude! What's the point of having a gun if everyone can stop the bullets!
