On the way back into Seattle this weekend, I took the Denny Ck/Asahel Curtis exit to see if you could drive to the Denny Ck. trailhead.
The good news: snow is for the most part gone, most likely up to the trailhead.
The bad news: the only snow left on the road that I could find is the remaining pile of snow where the road was plowed up to just before the one lane bridge.
So the road is still closed before the Denny Ck. campground. Why, I don't know. If you were of the tenacious sort and an owner of a high clearance vehicle and a shovel, you could probably get over the snow. I didn't much feel like giving it a go since I wasn't hiking that day.
