I guess I understand the reasoning behind the contraption.....ah, on second thought I don't at all. That's what neck straps or camera bag harnesses are for. I never complain about my poor arms aching from carrying a camera around all day- oh boo hoo. And they probably don't weigh nearly as much as that gizmo, or get snagged on overhead branches either. Sometimes too much engineering is not a good thing.
Now when they come out with a gimbeled motorized boom that you can ride around in like movie crews use that will fit on trails I'm there baby!
I don't see the use for a camera, but it would work for hanging a sandwich in front of me. It would have to be outside arm's reach.
That would certainly increase my hiking pace.
