Anyone know if the road through Olney Pass is open to Spada or who to contact? I remember reading a post on this earlier but I can't find it.

How far are you looking to go? It's open beyond the pass. I havent driven that far beyond though.

A month ago the PUD said there was a rd failure just down the rd. from the pass, and the it was gated at the pass, and not going to be open till the middle of the summer when they fixed it.
the report is somewhere in the Copper Lake trip, i wrote about it. Because i drove up there and checked it out for the trip.

The sign on Route 2 says the Recreation Area is open for day use, but if that slide is where I think it is, on the east shore of the south bay, there's not even an accessible boat ramp.
Ice Girl, is that where the road damage is? between the bridge over the South Fork Sultan River and the first boat launch area?

The way i understood it the road failure was after the pass but before the bridge at the end of the switch back. I wasn't able to get past the gate so i really don't know where it is. Maybe i will go and take a look see...
