tongue.gif Went up to check out the snow. The road is clear to the landing at Rocky Run. A bit of a nasty creek crossing then ascend past beautiful falls. No snow until the first lake, Lenorra? which has a very cool island and fallls as an inlet. Very steep snow (take an axe) to Lake Lillian. On the first go I missed the notch and ended up on cliffs on the ridge. The lake is completely frozen/snow covered. This made it easier to get to campsites. Someone had gone onto Rampart Ridge a week ago or so judging from old tracks. A little sun then it closed in and drizzled at night. In the morning it was socked in and I headed out.
