Took a little drive down to North Fork Falls on the Sauk River today. The sunlight sucked, but there was tons of water going over:
Very high water level.

North Fork Falls Video Left there and climb way up over the hill to look for the Lower Falls that's marked on the topo maps. I found it and it is probably better than the main falls. About the same height and spread out around 50' wide as well. Lots of spray!

Nice pictures Aaron! How hard was it and what route did you take to get to the lower falls? I'm heading in that direction this weekend.

Couple of pics from TNAB's visit to West Bandera Mtn. Wonderful weather, warm with little wind.

Here's one from today at Bald Mountain Falls:
In high water, the big drop on Southpaw Falls kicks up a cool rooster tail.

And another one of Nooksack Falls with a ton of water going over it:

Well that answers my question about whether the Canyon Creek road is open. Think I'm gonna head that way on Sunday or Monday.

The road was clear and snowfree the whole way up to the creek. We saw 2 deer and a black bear on the drive in too so that was cool. If the sun is out, the falls are gonna be covered with sunlight but with the water this high, the high speed shots look pretty good anyway. I left a rope at the lower falls so that might help get up that. It was a lot easier last summer when there wasn't any water coming down. Good luck.

What a sunny weekend. I spent it up on Rainier in an attempt to escape it.
