Several women canceled out of this trip leaving us with a Saturday a.m. driver and no confirmed passengers. This is an activity of the Middle Aged Mountain Ladies, but we don't really mind if you're not "middle aged"!
4 of us are going Friday night, but a few people said they couldn't so I set up a driver for Saturday morning; then all those people decided they couldn't go so we have a driver with possibly no-one else going.
We'll backpack into the lakes, set up camp by the falls and explore the area; then stop at Umtanum Canyon on the way home to explore that hike a bit.
You'd need money to share in the gas cost + possibly dinner on the way home Sun., and the usual backpacking supplies.
Don't be surprised if you see tons of people out next weekend. Those lakes opened March 1, but the general lake opener is Sat. and the hordes will be out. I'll be over that way some where. Have fun!
