Paradise is more accessible and may be more direct this time of year. Often used as a ski approach. Also requires more traversing of crevassed terrain.
I've done Summerland-Meany Crest-Fryingpan-Whitman Glaciers in July. Very moderate route, very little open crevasses.
With the weather being so shaky, it is a lock for Navaho. We will be meeting at the Issaquah Park and Ride at 6:30. We will not be in the garage but in the parking lot across the street. If you need any directions email me. I'd like to also knock off Little Navaho. Snowshoes, traction devices and trekking poles adviced with ice axes strongly advised.

the white river road (which gives access to the fryingpan via summerland) typically opens about now
they haven't even mentioned an opening date for the road yet .. this is a bit unusual
