Celebrate the American Hiking Society's National Trails Day® this weekend by helping with trail maintenance projects - for a list of projects in Washington state, click here.  Also see the Mt. Walker Trail and other NTD work parties at WTA.

Little River Trail near Port Angeles - join other volunteers to do trail work, clear blow down from winter storms, and help repair the bridge that was damaged this winter.
Partner organizations include:
• Back Country Horsemen of Washington | Peninsula Chapter
• Grey Wolves
• Washington State Dept. of Natural Resources
• Olympic National Park
• Olympic Discovery Trail Thursday Crew
What to bring: Work gloves, drinking water, lunch and wear sturdy boots.  DNR and BCHW will provide the tools.  RSVP at any of the links above.  Meet at the trailhead at 9 am (here's a map).

We will install curb logs and rebuild 120 feet of tread across a slide and move logs into place to replace a footbridge 1 mile from the trailhead, with Tom Mix, BCHW as crew leader.
