Got wolves breeding across the west like alley cat's.. Where's the Love for North East Washington's Woodland Caribou? Seriously folks these Caribou need our help.. Help support Wolf management in the NE Corner of our state. Wolves will manage just fine everywhere regardless of seasons.. But these Caribou have been struggling for years. Plenty of online information about Washington's Caribou Population.. So if you really care you'll look into it yourself.. Wolf Management in the North East corner of our state will not hurt the Wolves return.. But with out wolf management our Woodland Caribou will likely suffer to the point of no return..

I suggest you move this to stewardship, and change the title to Caribou Need Our help NOW. biggrin.gif

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

I don't want to sound confrontational but why haven't you mentioned this in the wolves need our help thread, You usually indicated wolves are all around you with no problems biggrin.gif. I'm sure your right about the beaver. They noticed the same behavior of wolves returning to the wetlands around Chernobyl (post nuclear meltdown) going after beaver vs getting kicked in the head by a moose. In regards to the Caribou in NE WA & N Idaho its not just the wolves but also the grizzly recovery plan to close roads to increase their habitat. With only 40ish Caribou remaining in the US Selkirks I don't see how they can have it both ways, double, triple, quadruple wolf & grizzly populations and expect Caribou to survive the Alamo. uhh.gif maybe there's something the government rocket scientist and environmentalist know that I don't... NOT!
