This one. It gives me warm and fuzzy flashbacks.

I keep coming back to this one. It's really just a snap but it captures the mood just right: reaching the top of Mt. Whitney, and also the endpoint of my John Muir Trail hike. I didn't really have to do any editing either, the composition just lined itself up. And amazed how high she can jump at 14,700 ft!

I don't know if this is my best, or even my favorite, but I was able to narrow it down to three and I had to choose one. But I like it.

That's a really nice shot! The bokeh, from light reflecting off the snow, works unexpectedly well.

This may not be my best photo, but it certainly is my favorite this year. Standing in those sunbeams was such a joyful moment, and then it was gone. I'm so grateful that I was able to capture some of the feeling of that time and place.

I did many things and saw many sights this year, but this... this... took my breath away. The North coast of Norway, blustery, cold, relentless.
The Lofoten Islands are spectacular in the summertime, but oh do they also hold their own in the winter.

This past year I quite liked Montreal, the North Cascades, Iceland and Alaska... but Norway? wow. Holy wow.

Ahem, I would say next time submit the vertical for the calendar.

Not a great photo but a photo of great sentimental value .... on Tronsen Ridge with my sister shortly before she moved halfway around the world.

Tom, I totally agree! I just wasn't convinced that vertical formats would look that great in the calendar. I was wrong twice!
