I'm looking for a fast wide prime primarily for night photography. This lens seems to deliver that sharpness at 2.0-2.8 onward. Does anyone have any experience with this or similar lenses?

If you are going to stop it down why pay the premium?

Because its 2.8 is supersharp compared to similar lenses starting at 2.8?
