Google now allows you to create your own street view by linking together a series of photospheres. This should work well on broad summits or ones with multiple high points. How about a virtual walk through Rampart Lakes? I'm eager to try it out.

Neat. I also didn't know one could create photospheres with an SLR! I've been doing it for awhile with my phone but it's only a 4 megapixel camera and the results are somewhat lacking. I'll have to try it out with my real camera next time.

The trouble is you need your own stitching software. PTGui is the best and it costs 79-149 Euros
