Uneventful trail
Extremely windy. Trees don't lie
Hideous Landscape
Visibility only about 200 feet
Ugly Stagnant Ponds
Ho Hum Lake. Yawn...
Should've stayed home and slept in In summary, don't waste your time

Experience is what'cha get, when you get what'cha don't want

Boring. Too bad you had to suffer through all that. I don't know how we endured it in July either.

Some places attract attention even though there's seemingly nothing there to see. Thanks for setting the record straight.

Took me about halfway thru the photos to figure out where it is. My only trip up there was a cloudy day, it looks much nicer with sunshine.

It looks like you might have suffered from an excess of elevation, and over exposure to solar radiation from exceeding the tree line. I hope in the future will exercise more caution when not sleeping in.

I need to rearrange my top 5 list. In my opinion, this place rivals anything east of Snoqualmie and Stevens Pass when it comes to Alpine ugliness Although a weekday hike, I bumped into 6 hikers and nobody else on the plateau or in the basin. Proof that this place is extremely undesirable Along with the images I posted of the scummy ponds, I could see 6 or 7 other mosquito breeding swamps The lower lake is so deprived of oxygen, that dozens of fish were gulping air from the surface I probably won't never not possibly ever might not go definitely for a return visit. Ever!
