Few words for this trip report but it was fun! woke up at 3am. drove to Carbon River at 4 am. Arrived at 5am. Biked up to the Green lake trail with my hiking partner. Hiked to Green lake. Cute right off of the trail from the lake and went straight up the hill. Green lake elevation is 3200 feet. Arthur Peak is about 5500 so it was a big push. We had to keep right away from the summit or else we would get clipped out. There was a couple points where we did some class 3-4 rock climb. There is a ridge atop that you walk to the summit. That is what we did. Right when we got to the top it started to snow with wind and rain along too. We followed the ridge north and kept on it until we hit the green lake trail. A lot better than down climbing what we climbed up. Or else we'd have to break out the rope and belay down! Attached at the end is a link to the trail we took up Arthur Peak but we came down the north ridge following it to the Green Lake trail Best part was biking down the road....so good!

thinking of doing Arthur from Howard peak. Its Longer, but it looks like fun route finding from the west approach. Hopefully it won't involve class4 shenanigans.
