Me too, Salish, but think about it. It's been more than 15 years since you and I became members of NWHikers, almost 20 years since Tom and I met, and yet some of the people here, like you (I think) and Kim Brown, were already part of this group. That's a long time. You can get quite a bit older in 20 years. suuure.gif Maybe it's not so surprising that the old-timers aren't very active anymore. ..... What is surprising is that so many of us are still here, still around, still checking in every once in awhile to see what's happening, even signing in occasionally to offer a 'mature' opinion or a bit of experience. This is a rather remarkable organization, accommodating old folks reminiscing about rambling far off the trails and younger ones signing in to ask for suggestions about where they should take their first hike. ..... I noticed something in Tom's Podcast, a bit about a young man named Josh Lewis showing Tom how to do some specialized technical thing. That's the same Josh Lewis that this group helped survive a turbulent adolescence. wink.gif up.gif up.gif There'll be more Snowbrushy's in the months and years ahead. We've reached that stage. But I've got a feeling that NWHikers will continue.

Something lost behind the ranges. Lost and waiting for you....... Go and find it. Go!

Good to see you Scrooge. And I agree, Kim Brown is old.

Podcast doesn't seem to be available anymore. Is there a mirror?

OK, heard back from Rudy and it should be fixed now. Sounds like the podcast host changed their links so older links wouldn't work without removing a trailing slash.
