Christof, I read your report about the Cougar Traverse. I thought about it after Mike's book came out, but although I gave done much of the route, never in a single push as you did. One of the amazing things is that you immediately drove all the way to Portland, then went to work! That wild storm on your last day set you up for the good one we had at Orcas 100 this year. You looked unphased by it when you came through Mt. Pickett aid station ( I have been ' captain'' as James calls it for all year's so far...love that event!). Many less experienced, less tough runners were in sorry shape. You continue to inspire and motivate! Doug McKeever Bellingham
