I’m located in Olympia and am looking for hiking partners in the surrounding area. I tried this on FB and although I got some yeses, none of them continued the conversation about planning hikes.
I am probably beginner/intermediate. I’m not fast but am persistent, likes to enjoy scenery as I hike, can do ~6 miles and some elevation gain. I also don’t mind mixing easy vs intermediate vs slightly harder ones. Don’t really like hiking in snow. I work a regular schedule, so I'm available weekends only. I have a sedan, so some trails are off limits to me but if you have a different car I’m more than happy to ride along. Observe COVID guidelines with masks, and in daily life.
Other than that, I’m easy going, communicate clearly and like to get to know people. We can meet up for coffee/video chat first to see if we would be a good fit.
