Anyone else tried the Spectre iPhone app?
Today was first time I used it.
I made these pics handheld.
But since my hands might not be as steady as yours, my best results were when I braced my arms on a log, bridge railing, etc.
Seems like a fun IPhone app, cameras use Neutral Density filters for the same effect.
A small light tripod like the Pedco ultra pod is very flexible in terms of being able to strap it to tree branches or railings. It’s been my backpacking tripod for years. There are plenty of iPhone holders for 1/4-20 tripod mount.
A longer delay in the shutter removes any movement source.
The bright milky water is from over-exposure due to the solar reflection off the water. Trying those shots at early or late in the day would help, and might show more of the rocky river bottom at the less turbulent areas. Cameras have circular polarizer that can cut down the glare some, but the right time of day helps still.
