It's been a few minutes, NW Hikers. But I'm pleased to report that the Man-inna-hillz has relocated permanently to the ancestral NW Homeland, with a new station in unincorporated Whatcom County just outside of Bellingham. It's been great so far- I climbed lots of North Cascades peaks this Summer (Shuksan Fisher Towers, Triumph NE Ridge, Liberty Bell Beckey Route, South Early Winters Spire).
Although I grew up in Seattle and still have friends down south, I am hoping to find some sympathetic and like minded scrambler-climber-hiker-bushwhackers in the 360 for mutually agreeable weekend and weekday adventures (I have a very flexible new gig an independent contractor, so I have a lot of flexibility). Would love to connect with some local folks for day hikes, backpacking trips, top roping (at Mt. Eerie, or up at Squamish), alpine rock climbing (I follow pretty capably up to about 5.8), scrambling, bushwhacking.
Hit me up in this thread or via PM. Looking forward to reconnecting with this community.
