Got some for Xmas, the waist fits fine but the legs and butt are super baggy. Not sure if that is normal or not. I guess you want to wear a few layers under them sometimes right?

It's nice to be able to get them on and off over boots, too.

These will keep them up. Baggy fit ventilates better anyway. https://www.duluthtrading.com/mens-regular-side-clip-suspenders-92992.html

Gaiters keep you from tripping, although water can run into them.

For climbing with crampons baggy is not so good but it is the fashion for all boarders.

Cyclists have similar problems with baggy pants. For cycling the usual solution are reflective leg bands. For climbing OR Crocodile gaiters worn over the pants solve the snagging problem, but cut ventilation considerably. But if the weather is poor enough to require rain pants, you should be headed downhill anyway.

You are right about that up.gif OR Crocodile Gaiters were a godsend when they came out. I suppose you could use old school leg clips for biking. clown.gif
