My old 1966 Trapper Nelson and my Daddy's 1936 model! Only difference? is snap closures on the old model and a zipper on the 1960's version. Both usable but just wall hangers now. Oldest piece of gear that I use now is my 1975 MSR stove which is on it's third pump. I still have the original instructions which include, " if operating this stove makes you uncomfortable please return it for a full refund". This blow torch has made me uncomfortable many times, but I would never return it. I spit on your fancy newfangled whisperlites!

I purchased my crampons at REI also back when REI was one room upstairs in a building on Pike Street.

Are you sure those are traction devices? The scale could be off but those look a lot like the tops I saw women on the back of Harleys wearing that we passed near Jackson, WY.  a few years ago.  smile.gif
