USC and UCLA both just dumped the Pac 12 for the Big 10. The rumor is most of the rest of the conference is begging to follow them. Not hard to imagine several more schools will get picked off by other conferences, and what will be left will not be viable and there will no longer be a Pac conference. Sickening to me. Big money has ruined college sports. Damned football. The NIL thing has quickly gotten out of control, student athletes have been transferring from one school to another like it's going out of style, and the geographically nonsensical conference realignment (and consolidation) continues. Bah humbug! I might have to quit bothering to follow college sports.

Well....if people paid their taxes, then college sports would not have had to make the leap for money. People paying less taxes = less money for the state governments for all schools. So the state reacted accordingly by cutting funding for sports....which then in turn made the sports look for other revenue sources. Once the free market takes over....you really can't stop it. Blame it on people not wanting to pay taxes. That is where the truth lies.

Art is an adventure.
