Chancellor is/was a ghost town (I guesst it wasn't ALWAYS a ghost) that was west of Hart's Pass. It was on the west slope of the North Cascades and in Whatomc county, but only accessed via the east up Lost River Road from Mazama. As of a couple years ago there was still a wooden sign near Hart's Pass directing you down to Chancellor.
