Impressive! This trip is well worth the permit! We took a day to hike to the lower meadow, a day to explore the lake and high basin, and a day to hike out and wait for the ferry! The entire trail's in good shape. The one slide area has an easy way through with just a few step-over blowdowns. (We couldn't clear it all with the 5-inch folding Silky saw we had with us.) Note: Olympic miles are longer than normal miles rolleyes.gif

Great trip. Thanks for posting.
