We spent 2 nights in the meadows below the peak.
Very hot. But surprisingly the bitey things were only out from
about 0500 to 0800.
Right now there is alot of water flowing in the area.
But as these are ephemeral streams. I doubt that they will be
there in 2 weeks or so.
We walked up Navajo early the next morning.
Near the top we came across this fellow: A Mtn Goat.
It took us hour from the pass to reach the summit.
Where the whole Stewart Range laid out before us.
Then we headed for the un-named peak directly to the west of Navajo.
All in all it was a 5 1/2 hour non stop day.
Dinner and laying in the tent looking up at the night
skies felt just grand.
We watched a couple of passenger planes heading NE.
No doubt to Scotland

Good stuff. The Teanaway holds a special place in my heart. That mound to the west might have been Wrong Turn Peak. Unless you mean you followed the ridge north from there to 6672'.
