I understand that they take out the bottom so that it does not collapse under snow, so you cannot use it in winter, si that correct? Does somebody know when it normally gets put back in? Thanks!
There are multiple washouts above Ipsut Creek presently that need to be repaired first, and you can't even get to the suspension bridge until they install the seasonal log bridges along the Northern Loop Trail, which usually happens in late June or early July, so that's gonna be the start of your window.
Check WTA trip reports for the trailheads accessed by the bridge to get a historical gauge about when-ish trip reports start and what they say; that will give some idea.
